One-liner Wednesday– Writing

This is how you do it: you sit down at the keyboard and you put one word down after another until it’s done. It’s that easy, and that hard.  – Neil Gaiman

This post is brought to you as an attempt to keep up with this blog despite the many squirrels and sickness and life things which keep popping up and distracting me from doing the very thing this quote suggests. AND as a part of Linda G. Hill’s One-Liner Wednesdays. Check it out!

      • Oh no! In the past I’ve combated that with a trick I learned at one of the write-ins I went to. We did a challenge – see how many words you can write in 10 minutes. Pick a scene and just write it, even if it’s not one that you’re planning to put in the book yet. I found it a great way to get half my word count goal for the day done. Let me know how it goes! 😀

      • I like this idea!!! I’m going to give it a try…too often I find myself hung up on what happens next that I forget I can jump around. Great tip 🙂
